The very same word i uttered while watching news (abs-cbn, channel 2) about the philippine dragon ball federation (dragon boat racing philippines).


am soo happeeeee for them, with all the hard work plus lack of support from the government, they made their way to the 'pot-of-gold'.


5 GOLD MEDALS are no joke of achievements esp. they're representing Philippines -set aside the fact that quote-unquote "philippine government has no support on us"-, filipinos must rejoice, must not set this sweet victory aside. i mean, it's another lift for our country, not just for them -the puddlers- but for the whole filipinos and that includes you,yesss you you you Noypi!

i was once an athlete and i know how hard it is to be an athlete. sweat, determination and discipline are the key ingredients to success and to have no support coming from the 'significant' others is like running with your 7" heels on. painful and hard.

am inspired with the determination they showed despite the unfortunate situation they have. i'm praying and hoping that our government will take notice of this.

...there's soo much i want to say, soo much to compare-to but i find it below the belt. so, i might as well leave it here.

good luck for the future tournaments, boaters!

...sometimes it's not of-no-fun to go to something you don't like,

under the heat,

watched football at UP diliman, football field (am stating the ob.vi.ous?:) with Yehleen (sister) and Em-Es (cousin). actually, my cousin whose the one invited us to watch the football match with her cos' her Bf and team are one of the finalist in the league. since we're free that one fine sunday, we go and we had a lot fun. 

am no football fan (before-thanks azkals) so i don't like that kind of atmosphere, but much to my delight, i enjoyed it.

You've than a lot, like a lot lot for the Philippine football,  Azkals. I believed (and I'm sure many filipinos too,) that you did your best to at least tie-up with that of kuwait's score from the last game. Maybe time isn't just right n o w.


You opened a larger door for an aspiring 'azkals' in the making, and that is really,really something.I mean Basketball is the only sport that's very IN in this country..Le'say, when you walk on the street you'll see a parking lot or a small road that turns into a basketball court by night and when you ask guys what sport they're in, will they say football? NO, it's B A S K E T B A L L and 'cos of you guys..dear Azkals, you made football a much talk-about in this country today, excuse me Manny, you've than great i know. (HA!) . Not that i despised basketball, it's just that Bball is not the only sport that exists. They're many and i mean MANY good sports that are just waiting for the limelight to spot'em and thank God Fball has it now and I do hope that it's also the start of something new for the other sports to catch people's attention.
